Morgan Maher is dating Chandler Ransom Lucy. Chandler is in the band The Hellp, who played Coachella on Sunday night. When I asked how they met, here’s what Morgan told me:

we met and talked about blink-182 and lord of the rings, then a few weeks after seeing each other we went to Mexico to see blink-182 and right when we landed they cancelled the shows… so then we were on vacation after knowing each other for two or three weeks. And then just never stopped hanging out hehe

Morgan’s also a photographer. If you’ve seen a picture of a young Hollywood thing lately — Mikey Madison or Sydney Sweeney or Devon Lee Carlson — there’s a pretty good chance Morgan took it. Some of my favorite photos of hers are the ones she shot of angel-face rapper Nettspend for i-D.

Who/what you’re most excited to see: I wanted to see three six mafia because the last time I saw them I was 16 in Baltimore but I missed it because I was working.

How you got to Coachella (car… bus…): I drove a rental Toyota Corolla because my car broke down in the McDonalds drive thru

Day 1 (Friday)

1. Breakfast: Nothing…I was on set so this day was honestly not too festival related.

2. Your outfit today: I wore a black dress with neon pink Gimaguas ballet flats, a tan jacket with raccoon fur collar and camel balenciaga city bag

3. Hydration of choice: water…….

4. The vibe in the air: COLD. I was freezing?

5. Lunch: steak

6. Your favorite set: I was working and my sweet boyfriend waited for me to go so we saw a bit of The Prodigy and Lady Gaga

7. High point of the day: Changing from my Chanel ballet flats into neoprene ones

8. Low point of the day: working from 7 AM - 6 PM and driving 2 hours my back hurt???

9. Any outfit changes? None

10. Most Coachella moment of the day: Chandler told me he was going to find Mara and Mila and tbh I did not believe him until he showed up with them and Noah a few minutes later. Festival magic…….

11. Best outfit you saw today: I actually loved when Lady Gaga was in a pink dress with the blonde hair and bangs. I love her Blonde.

12. Worst outfit you saw today: Anything with face rhinestones?

12. Any interesting sightings? This was my first time at Coachella, and it was really amazing to see everyone just enjoying music and the experience. No one felt, at least to me, that they thought they were too cool to be there

Day 1 I was pretty tired since I was working all day. But it was a nice establishing day and I was just happy to get there so I could relinquish all decision making control and be along for the ride.

Day 2 (Saturday)

1. Breakfast: Three grande iced lattes from Starbucks with whole milk

2. Your outfit today: Saint Laurent leather pants, Brandy Melville Tank top, Miu Miu sunglasses, Balenciaga City bag

4. Hangover level/10: If only I knew what was to come

5. The vibe in the air: SO FUN. So. Fun.

6. Lunch: two bites of a bean and cheese burrito

7. Your favorite set: Clairo!!!!!

8. High point of the day: I was honestly so nervous to go. It’s totally out of my comfort zone. So being able to spend the day with people I love and really having so much fun.

9. Low point of the day: When Mara and Mila left because we weren’t staying at the same house

10. Any outfit changes? No!

11. Most Coachella moment of the day: Omg. Watching the sun set and everyone walking around backlit. The dreamy backlit idea I had in my mind of Coachella came true. Where everyone has a halo

12. Best outfit you saw today: I loved Noah wearing palm tree swim trunks and a neon pink and blue tie dye hoodie.

13. Worst outfit you saw today: A lot of uninspired black sheer dresses

14. Dinner: White Claw, Heineken, Double Vodka Redbull

15. Any interesting sightings? Watching Chandler explain the physics of how a beer bong works is totally not surprising but it was endearing and beautiful. In leopard boxers, which Mila pronounces like “leotard” but with a P.

16. Your mood: 8/10

Day 2 was awesome. I was able to tan by the pool, read some Elizabeth Wurtzel. Drink Starbucks. And by the time we got to the festival we had done a few beer bongs. Seeing the boys dance to 2Hollis was so cute. I loved Clairo too.

Day 3 (Sunday)

1. Breakfast: Venti iced latte with whole milk

2. Your outfit today: I wore the same exact thing because I guess I’m anemic and I freeze immediately. Everything I brought was too cute and little. I thought I was in the desert?

3. Hydration of choice: Today it was vodka redbull (double)

4. Hangover level/10: 7/10…..

5. Lunch: Pizza!!!!!!

6. The vibe in the air: it was Easter!!!!!! It was magic!!!

7. Your favorite set: The Hellp!!!!!! Beabadoobee!!!! Post Malone also rocked

8. High point of the day: Chandler and Noah’s first Coachella performance. Watching Mara, Mila, Maggie and Keni walk around in the flyest fits all day

9. Low point of the day: going to sleep because then it was over.

10. Any outfit changes? No hehe

11. Most Coachella moment of the day: It was amazing to see everyone having such a good time at the Hellp set. Obviously I’m biased, but there’s a girl with pink angel wings and little cat ears who is having as amazing of a time as a guy in tiny little pants and a leather jacket.

12. Best outfit you saw today: Chandler looked perfect. He was wearing the Saint Laurent fangs jacket with a scarf around his head and Saint Laurent pants with Vans. The girls looked perfect (obviously). Maggie had the cutest Balmain tank top. Keni in a sheer floor length floral purple dress, Mara sheer white dress. Mila Perfect Chanel Boots. Very Easter.

13. Worst outfit you saw today: I really was just concerned about everyone being cold in the evening. So when I saw all of the bikini tops I just thought…aren’t you going to be cold?

14. Dinner: Nope…

15. Any interesting sightings? Chandler showed me the rainbow tube thing in the middle of the festival, we had lost everyone after they played, so him and I went up to the top and turned out ALL our friends were there!!!!!

I anticipated being overwhelmed at Coachella. I loved being there with people who have been before it made everything so much easier. I am such a control freak but also appreciate the times and places to not make decisions.

The last day was amazing. Everyone was really so excited for the boys to perform at Coachella for the first time. I photographed Beabadoobee earlier in the day and she’s such a beautiful kind star!!! I feel so lucky. This day was special. I desperately needed the Vodka Redbull’s (plural). But the most insane thing is a double vodka redbull is $38? OMG. My friend Sky and I realized we have the same birthday, and I was sitting with Mila. And we realized we ALSO have the same birthday???

I loved it. I love my friends. I am so grateful.
